About Me

Meet Madi: Your Passionate Agriculture Advocate and Creative Photographer

Hello, I'm Madison, but you can call me Madi. Being born and raised in Northeast Iowa, I have a deep-rooted passion for agriculture. As a dedicated FarmHer, I am passionate about advocating for the farming community and all it represents.

We have recently moved from North Iowa back to Northeast Iowa to the home farm where I was born and raised. We are excited to be more involved in the day-to-day farming operation and to be closer to our families.

I'm a proud "chicken tender" with 15 feathered friends, and I've been a beekeeper since 2016. I'm fascinated by these incredible creatures and their crucial role in our environment.

Aside from my love for farming and beekeeping, I am also the genealogist for my family. I enjoy learning about our family's past and have a particular fondness for perusing old photos. Finally, I'm always up for a DIY project, whether it's sewing a pillowcase, painting crafts with my daughters, or redecorating our home.

I'm married to my amazing husband, Tyler, who shares my passion for agriculture. He's my rock, keeping me grounded and always listening to my ideas. Together we have two daughters, Paisley and Laura, and our beloved corgi, Lady Mabel.

So, how did I become a professional photographer? It all started with 4-H. By participating in photography contests, I discovered my passion for capturing moments and telling stories through my lens. As I got older, people began asking me to take family or senior photos. I never expected it to become a career, but after obtaining my Agriculture Business degree, I decided to pursue Professional Photography at Hawkeye Community College.

It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Photography has become my creative outlet, allowing me to express my vision and share my passion with others.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I hope you'll consider allowing me to capture your special moments.
